The incremental optical encoder FG 40 Ex has explosion protection according to ATEX / IECEx (gas: zones 1 and 2, dust: zones 21 and 22). With its pressure-resistant, thick-walled housing made of seawater-resistant aluminium, it is ideally suited for use in hazardous areas with heavy-duty requirements. The high-quality anodized coating offers high protection against corrosion.
