The new highlights in the U-ONE(-SAFETY) product range are our INOX models and additional optional Ex protection available for all device types.
Precise signal transmission over long distances
Our U-ONE(-SAFETY) universal encoder systems are the ideal solution for precisely and safely monitoring speeds and positions, for example on hoists – and especially in the case of modernizations. U-ONE(-SAFETY) systems provide interference-free transmission of signals with just one fiber optic cable to the function modules in the switchboard. What’s more, they do so over a distance of up to 1,000 meters. Our new catalog presents our two U-ONE(-SAFETY) system designs: LWL and Compact. All the models offer very accurate signal transmission thanks to gearless direct mounting on the application shaft and a high resolution of 13 bit singleturn and 15 bit multiturn.
New and now available: INOX housing for all models
For the first time ever, all U-ONE(-SAFETY) device types are now available with saltwater-proof stainless steel housing. As a result, they are also suitable for use in offshore applications. The dimension drawings of these new INOX devices in the latest catalog provide an insight into their design and space requirements. Furthermore, all device types, including the INOX versions, are also now available with additional Ex protection for zones 2 and 22 on request.
