The corrosion-resistant HKS metal multiple disc couplings compensate for an angular misalignment of up to 0.5° and an axial misalignment of up to ±1 mm, thus extending the service life of encoders. They are safety components according to DIN EN ISO 13849-2 (PL e) with CE declaration of conformity and designed with high safety factors for fatigue resistance and fault exclusion.
In addition, HKS safety single joint couplings can be used to implement fail-safe encoder attachments in hazardous areas. This makes them ideal for extreme operating conditions.
The single-jointed couplings are available with different hub lengths and bore diameters as well as insulated couplings for attachments with shaft current hazard.
We look forward to your challenges.
