The robust multiturn absolute position encoders AM… 41 and AM…H 41 SIL 3 can be used in a variety of ways for safe position and revolution detection. They meet the highest safety requirements and are certified according to EN 61508 SIL CL3 and EN ISO 13849 PL e. The encoders supply precise information about the shaft position and the number of revolutions via the Profibus or Profinet interface.
The multiturn position encoders are used in applications with functional safety requirements, for example in steel and rolling mills, in mining, as well as in ports and crane system.
