Something our customers have always known is now official: Hübner Giessen delivers award-winning results. We are delighted to receive the CIC Enterprise Award 2017 in the category “Industry”.
In presenting this award at its annual New Year’s Reception the CIC Gießen-Friedberg acknowledges the people and companies who are driving the regional economy forward and creating exciting prospects for the future. In the presence of guest of honour EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger the prize was recently awarded by CIC CEO to our Managing Directors Oliver Rüspeler and Frank Tscherney as well as Professor Ewald Ohl representing all employees at Hübner.
“At least one of our almost 100 employees is behind every technical innovation” emphasized Oliver Rüspeler who voiced his appreciation of the award on behalf of the whole company. Moreover, as an owner-led company we see it as our responsibility to work for and on behalf of the region and the people who live and work here. This philosophy not only lives and breathes through the support of the JOHANNES HÜBNER FOUNDATION for universities and innovative PhD and research work, but also through our innovation program “ab Idee ok!” (“growing novel ideas!”).
Bearing this in mind we are pleased to have received this award from the CIC Gießen-Friedberg – and we will continue working throughout the coming year to drive innovation, demand and evolution in the region and around the world.
