The frequency-voltage converters (signal converters) are used to convert the digital output signals from incremental rotary encoders into a DC voltage or direct current that is proportional to the speed and direction of rotation.
The final speed and pulse rate are set using four coding switches. The resulting value is converted and fed to the analogue outputs.
