These encoders are electromagnetic transducers whose inductive or magnetic scanning is used to generate precise, digital HTL output signals. They are used for speed measurement and are used in particular for traction and slip control, e.g. in locomotives or multiple units.
The robust design and high degree of protection (up to IP 66) allow them to be used even under the demanding conditions that prevail in railroad operations.
Johannes Hübner Giessen encoders with inductive or magnetic sensing are developed and designed to meet individual customer requirements. The evaluation electronics can be integrated in the same housing as the sensor or in a separate housing, depending on customer requirements and the required design. Robust protective conduit systems are available for all data and supply cables.
We look forward to your challenges.
