27 international colleagues visit our training for representatives.
Nowadays, modern communication media make it easy to exchange ideas and information across borders and time zones. As a worldwide operating company with more than 50 representatives based in all continents of the world, it goes without saying that we also take advantage of these opportunities to exchange information. However, some things can be worked out better in personal, face-to-face discussions. That is why we invited our international and European partners to visit a training course here in Giessen this September.
All told, the guest list consisted of 27 colleagues from Brazil, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Columbia, Egypt, Norway, Finland, England, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Russia. A wide variety of topics were discussed in detail during a two-day event for our European partners and a week-long training course for the other partners.
After being welcomed by our management, a guided tour of our new offices and a presentation ceremony gave them an opportunity to become acquainted with one another. Then it was straight down to work. To guarantee optimum service for our customers across the globe, the training was not restricted to pure theory, but also included a lot of practical, hands on experience.
And there was also some time for relaxation after work. A BBQ together in brilliant sunshine for members of staff and representatives offered time for personal discussions and an opportunity to get to know one another better. And it goes without saying that we also introduced our guests to the natural beauty of Giessen and the surrounding area. A further highlight: an award ceremony to present the Hübner Giessen Innovation Award Mining 2017 to our Brazilian partner from C+ Tecnologia.
We are able to look back on a few interesting and productive days – and would like to thank all participants and helpers.
